🧾 Overview

TryDis BBQ needed branding that captured their bold, island-style flavors and unique Hawaiian-Texan fusion concept. I developed a playful and professional brand identity, custom signage for their food truck, a responsive website, and marketing materials to support their community launch and future growth.

The Sweet Treat Bakery app aims to provide an easy, convenient way for Bay Area residents to order baked goods directly from the bakery, bypassing third-party apps.

This app focuses on simplifying ordering for pick-up and delivery, catering to busy individuals and families who value time-saving solutions.

No professional website or booking link

Hard for new clients to trust or verify the work

No single place to share services or get in touch

🚪Opportunity

The client needed a simple, branded site that could grow with their business — one that clearly showcased their services, menu, and visual personality. I focused on creating a bold landing page with clean typography, mouthwatering imagery, and clear calls-to-action for booking and outreach.

Sweet Treat Bakery was a project I undertook as part of my Google UX Design class. The goal was to enhance the digital experience for a local bakery by creating an intuitive and efficient app for customers.

The app was designed to simplify the ordering process, making it easy for users to browse, select, and pay for their favorite baked goods directly from the bakery.

Through this project, I aimed to address pain points like the extra costs associated with third-party apps and limited ordering options, while providing a more streamlined, user-friendly solution.

🔥 Branding Elements

I designed a bold, typographic logo with a slight vintage edge to reflect both the southern BBQ vibe and the rich cultural roots of the islands. The brand palette uses warm, vibrant tones and clean contrast for maximum clarity and visual impact.

Created a mood board to define Sweet Treat Bakery’s visual identity, including a custom-designed logo along with thoughtfully selected colors and typography.

Each element was crafted to evoke the bakery’s warm, inviting feel while catering to the needs of modern, on-the-go users.

I created early merch mockups and a full social media content strategy to help boost brand recognition and connect with the local community.


While the client chose not to move forward with new merch for now, I provided a full content calendar to help them grow their Instagram presence. The calendar includes post ideas, captions, and launch tips designed to help them stay consistent and get discovered by local foodies.
